A boy in Springfield, Illinois had been begging his parents for a puppy for many years. The six-year-old Xander just couldn’t imagine what owning his own dog would be like.
Xander didn’t think he would ever own a dog. But his parents were hatching a genius surprise for him.
He was heading over to his grandparent’s house, and his mother, Natalie, told him to wait outside in the front yard. She informed him that they had gone out, and would be back soon. Once inside and hidden from view, Natalie whipped out her phone to film the moment for all to see. She knew how incredible it was going to be!
Xander heads over to see his grandparents as they arrive, and he waits for them to get out of the car.
The door opens and a voice tells Xander to close his eyes and hold his arms out.
He’s probably wondering what on earth is going on by this point, but he obliges. The poor boy is probably extremely confused at this point, but he kindly obeys, commenting:
“Okay, I’m not going to move.”
Xander’s grandma asks him to raise his hands so that it looks almost as if he is cradling the air. It looks comical, and this video is just loaded full of comedy and cuteness.
