Six tiny bundles, forming the most beautiful rainbow. Born more than 10 weeks early, the fraternal siblings have just arrived home – and their first photo shoot is ʙʀᴇᴀᴛʜᴛᴀᴋɪɴɢ.
These six little Fɪɢʜᴛᴇʀs have also been bestowed the most magnificent names – and with three older brothers named Saylor, Wells and Bridge they had a lot to live up to.
A miracle six times over
Eric and Courtney Waldrop have been sweethearts since school, and always wished for a big family. They could never have imagined just how big it would get. The Alabama couple had first son Saylor in 2008, before using Fᴇʀᴛɪʟɪᴛʏ ᴛʀᴇᴀᴛᴍᴇɴᴛs to have their twins Wales and Bridge in 2012.
After suffering a ᴍɪsᴄᴀʀʀɪᴀɢᴇ Courtney finally became pregnant – with not one, but six babies. They had been told by doctors the chance of having another multiple pregnancy was low. But once they heard the ʜᴇᴀʀᴛʙᴇᴀᴛs they say they knew everything would work out.
They sʜᴀʀᴇᴅ ᴛʜᴇɪʀ ᴊᴏᴜʀɴᴇʏ ᴠɪᴀ their Facebook page, and even held a public ɢᴇɴᴅᴇʀ ʀᴇᴠᴇᴀʟ, watch the video below. The three ɢɪʀʟs and three ʙᴏʏs were born on December 11, 2017, the family naming their new additions: Blu, Layke, Rawlings, Rayne, Tag and Rivers.
After several weeks in hospital, the sᴇxᴛᴜᴘʟᴇᴛs were allowed home just a couple of days ago, and to celebrate they had their photos taken.
Photographer Ashley Sargent said, “It takes sunshine and rain to make a rainbow. Can you imagine the Fᴇᴀʀ ᴀɴᴅ sᴛʀᴇss you would have as a mother being told you are pregnant with six? Mixed with so much joy in knowing that within you life is growing.”

On his popular television show, “Little Big Shots,” Steve Harvey has all kinds of kids appear. Often, they have some special talents like singing, dancing, or athletics. Some of these kids are child prodigies in their own right.

Whether they appear on the show in person, or in a video like this little girl, these kids are impressive in their own right. The little girl in this video knows she has something to say, something worth arguing about, but she doesn’t quite have the words to express what she’s feeling. But, she has “arguing” down anyway!
As her mom calmly tries to deal with the situation, she goes on a tirade! It’s impossible to tell what she’s saying, but she means business! When she finally learns all the words, she’s going to be a force to be reckoned with.

Many people claim to have a voice that sounds like a certain celebrity, but for one little boy known as Little John, it’s actually true! Little John is in second grade, and during one of his performances, he left the audience speechless with his amazing vocal ability. Before he even began the song, the audience was already enamored with the little boy because of the charm he possesses.
His adorable little button-down blue outfit and guitar that seemed too big for his tiny hands made him an adorable sight. Although he chose a difficult song to perform, he knew he could perform it with grace and skill. No one was ready for the amazing show Little John was about to put on!

But just when the audience believes that that’s all he had to offer, Little John pulled out an even bigger trick that he had waiting up his sleeve! Halfway through one of his songs, he decided to switch things up a bit and make the crowd go even crazier for his amazing talent!
People were in awe that such presence on stage and sheer vocal ability could come from someone so young, but Little John was there to prove that even young kids can be superstars!

We all know someone out there that dances to the beat of their very own drum. We love them and appreciate them for being themselves even if they don’t always follow the social norms all the time. If we all colored inside the lines, life wouldn’t be nearly as interesting as it is. There are many people who show their differences even from a very young age. The young girl in this video is a great example. When we see her dancing, it is sure to make us smile.
All the preschoolers got all lined up, ready to dance. It was a pretty adorable sight to see. Like many other recitals that feature younger children, there can be a lot of anticipation to see how cute it is going to be. No one expected quite what they saw. One little girl had her heart set on sticking to her own dance routine. She was having so much fun on stage that she just couldn’t stick to the choreography she was given in practice. No one seemed to mind though. It made the dance recital that much more fun to watch.
When a child very clearly has their own personality, it is a joy to watch. Of course we want the kids to listen and follow rules, but sometimes rules aren’t always needed to be followed. In this video, this girl follows her own rules and does her own dancing. Right off the bat, she is dancing and doing her own thing and it is amazing to watch.

Language milestones are successes that mark various stages of language development. They are both receptive (hearing and understanding) and expressive (speech). This means that in addition to being able to make sounds and words, your baby also needs to be able to hear and understand.
Most children speak their first word between 10 to 14 months of age.
By the time your baby is a year old, he or she is probably saying between one to three words. They will be simple, and not complete words, but you will know what they mean. They may say “ma-ma,” or “da-da,” or try a name for a sibling, pet, or toy. If they aren’t doing this at 12 months, you should not be worried, as long as they are producing lots of sounds, seem like they are trying to speak, and seem to understand you. They should be using gestures, responding to their name, and stopping activity when they hear “no.” They probably enjoy playing peek-a-boo.
While nothing quite matches the thrill of hearing the first word, or seeing the first step, the language development during this year can be a lot of fun. There are lots of games to be played as your baby learns words. You also will increasingly be able to understand your child, and this makes many things easier; they will also understand you better. Children are very proud of what they are learning during this time and enjoy announcing new words. Talking to your child often and reading to them starting no later than 6 months will go a long way towards helping with language development.
Significant Language Milestones
The first word – If your child hasn’t already spoken their first word, they will soon. Most children speak their first word between 10 to 14 months of age. More true words will follow the first one.
Gestures – Your child may use a lot of gestures with words to try and get the meaning across to you. As time goes on, there will be more words than gestures.
Parts of the body – By around 15 months, your child will be able to point to some parts of the body when you name them.
Naming familiar objects – They will begin to be able to name some familiar objects between 12 and 18 months.
Listening – During this time, they will enjoy being read to and listening to songs and rhymes. They will begin to be able to name familiar objects that you point to in a book.
Vocabulary – By 18 months of age, most children have at least ten words. After 18 months, word acquisition increases dramatically. There may be a “word spurt” after a child has a vocabulary of 50 words. Some children then learn new words at a very rapid pace. Your child will be able to use and understand many words by 24 months of age.
Name – By 24 months, your child should be referring to themselves by name.
Directions – Your child will understand and follow simple directions between 12 and 15 months of age. By the age of two, they should be able to understand more complicated sentences.
Two word “sentences” – By 24 months, they will also be putting two words together. This could be their name and a request, or your name and a request, or a question, like “mama car?”
Children master different language skills at different ages.
Words will still not be perfect. Your child will start using some of the harder consonants, first the d, n, and t, which are produced between the tongue and the roof of the mouth.
That will be followed by g, k, and ng, which are made farther back inside the mouth.
During this year, your child will use more consonants, although they may be mixed up, and they may drop the syllables at the end of words.
Causes for Concern
Understanding simple words – You should be concerned if your child does not understand the words no, bye-bye, and bottle (if appropriate) by the age 15 months.
Vocabulary – Your child should use single words by 15 to 16 months of age at the latest. They should have a 10-word vocabulary by 18 months of age.
Following directions – They should be able to follow simple directions by the time they are 21 months old. An example would be “Come here.”
Excessive jargon or babbling – A two year old should not be mainly babbling. They should be using more real words.
Body parts – At two, your child should be able to point to a number of body parts.
Two word phrases – A two-year-old should be putting two words together.
You will still have many visits to the pediatrician during this year. The doctor will still be evaluating your child’s development, including language development. You should share any concerns you have.
It is still important to remember that every child is different and may master different language skills at different ages. You should be looking for evidence of increasing mastery of language and growth of vocabulary. Your child should be increasingly able to understand you. This should be easy for you to recognize as you read to and play with them.
