Many people believe that it takes years of experience and practice to perfect a talent or skill, but this couldn’t be further from the truth. In fact, talent knows no bounds and is never hindered by discrimination. How do we know this? The video below is here to prove it.
A young girl named Jadyn Rylee, who is only 11 years old, has risen to online fame for her amazing singing voice. She’s done many covers such as Simon and Garfunkel’s ‘The Sound of Silence’ and Metallica’s ‘Nothing Else Matters,’ but of late she’s released a brand new song. It’s one you’ve absolutely never heard before because it’s an original.
Jadyn recently paired up with Nashville songwriter, Curt Ryle, and together they created a song entitled, “Don’t Judge a Book by its Cover.” The result? An incredibly gifted young lady with the voice of an angel singing a song about an important social issue that many face—bullying. The lyrics are incredibly moving, addressing the issue of feeling alone and wanting acceptance in this big world. You can’t help but see the passion and love she brings to the table while singing the song.
The video has already racked up over one million views on YouTube, and it is without a shadow of a doubt that this girl is going places. But she’s not just a talented singer; she displays a sense of sincerity and genuine concern for helping others. Her comment on the video reads,
“Hey, guys it’s Jadyn. I just felt so bad for all of the people who have been bullied reading these comments make my heart melt when I see all these innocent people getting bullied. It’s not fair, and it’s not your fault. I hope you know I read these amazing comments every single night and I don’t do anything until I’ve read all of them. I love you guys. Remember, ‘Always look after your self and stick up for yourself. Don’t let the bully rule it all. Love you guys and have a great summer.”
She may be a little girl, but she’s armed with a big heart. Her message is clear and hits home. Give this chilling song a listen and let us know your thoughts in the comments. If you’ve loved this video as much as we have, then please like and share it with your family and friends.
