Lily, an adorable 5-year-old girl with great dance moves, stole the show at preschool graduation. As soon as the music started, she moved her shoulders while her classmates barely moved.

Clearly, they had practiced choreography, but Lily had her own thing that she wanted to do. She had glasses and wore a pretty blue dress. Her grandmother said that she loves to sing and dance.

The other kids stuck their thumbs and tongues out. Lily was shaking her hips and showing all kinds of ridiculous expressions on her face. Even her classmates were laughing at her antics.

The girl in this video, however, has no shame and there’s no reason she should! She dances as though no one was watching, except a handful of people were. Did she care? Not one little bit.The clip was recorded at a dance class for young girls, and the star of the show is quite a considerable amount younger than the rest of the class. Perhaps she was only allowed to participate in one lesson, but she sure gave it all she had!

Why’s that? Well, she’s probably a fan of dance first and foremost, but it’s also been proven that toddlers between the ages of 12-14 months love to move freely as they finally have a handle on their body movements

While the rest of the class is following the dance instructor’s every move, concentrating hard and trying to perfect their technique, the little one swings her hips and moves her arms like she’s at a disco! At one point, she even wipes her forehead, making it appear as though she’s working up a sweat! It’s probably the cutest thing you’ll see all day, to be honest.

It seems like many of us have forgotten how a toddler hears music. We connect with the lyrics and sing along or cry or be happy… But for them, it’s the music itself that does the trick.

And seeing them enjoy the moment and dance like no one is watching, actually melts our hearts. Their little sways, claps, and laughs are all so precious and pure. A dancer named mirandy54 on YouTube posted this cutest video of their son’s dancing.

The parent states: “Being a dance teacher, your baby hears the music for each recital several times. It was so cute how Hunter, at only 18 months, would stay super still during the slow part of the song and start “dancing” when the music picked up.

“At our small studio recital we put him on stage and played the music to see what he would do…and he didn’t disappoint!
