Being away from your loved ones must be one of the hardest things in the world. But when you are a grown up, most of the time you understand the circumstances and that you have nothing to do or change about it. But children are different. They have a very week emotional status and not all of them understand that they must deal with the distance as they can’t change it.
In this story we want to tell you about Carlin Ensman who hadn’t seen her dad for many months and missed him so much. Her dad was in the army and was far from his family. Carlin didn’t understand the reason of her dad going so long and being away from them. The girl’s mom Mandy, did everything to explain her daughter in any possible ways, avoiding traumas that her dad had a very important job and he had to finish it.
The day when they finally could meet each other Mandy didn’t know anything. She was just having fun at the airport and had no idea what was about to happen. Her mom led her where she was supposed to meet her dad and that is when she saw him coming and screamed out loud from happiness. It was so unexpected for the little princess. She then ran right up to him, hugged, and kept making happy noises.
