Never lie in a job interview.
It is needless to say one must be completely honest during a job interview, isn’t it? A job interview is an effective way to filter applicants whether or not they perfectly fit the position being offered.

It’s part of the hiring process where a candidate sells their accredited credentials, potential, and character. That’s why it is so important to be honest because the famous quote “fake it ’till you make it” doesn’t always work.

Changes after the pandemic.
Since the breakout of the COVID-19 virus, a lot of things have changed. Most of the things that we usually do in person suddenly transitioned to online transactions.

Before the pandemic, job interviews were normally done in person, a face-to-face question-and-answer type of conversation. But to make the workplace a much safer place for everyone, companies from almost every industry chose to do job interviews virtually.

And when a job interview is done at home, chances of getting the kids involved in it are… PRETTY HIGH.

A trend that’s making people LOL!
This online trend consists of the parents (could either be mom or dad), their kids, and an online job interview – a fake one. What happens is that the parent will pretend to be recording himself while introducing himself, his qualifications, and how he is as a parent at home.

And on the side, they will ask one of their kids to be involved in the fake interview. The catch is that they will tell lies as they try to introduce themselves and what they do at home. Simply put, they will tell complete lies in front of their kids and bait their funny reactions.

This trend has been all over social media platforms like TikTok, Facebook, and YouTube.

Want to see how a kid will react to his dad’s lies? Here is a hilarious one.

In a YouTube video with over 1.4 million views, a dad tried pulling out the funny fake interview prank on one (he has two) of his boys named Phoenix. Dad started by telling his little boy he’s about to do a job interview by sharing what’s his usual routine at home and practically told his son it’d help him get the job.

So, Phoenix’s dad went off by saying he usually wakes up by 3 in the morning and bathes for about 20 minutes. Right there and then, the innocent victim quickly showed disagreement which furrowed his brow.

Then his dad followed it up by saying he’d do a 3-mile run and go cycling for about 2 hours.

“Stop with the lies dad!”
That’s probably what Phoenix wants to say while listening to his father’s false stories.

Dad continued with his lies by saying he showers Phoenix and his brother Kobe before they go to school. The fake interviewee also claimed he cooks waffles, toast, pancakes, and pancakes for breakfast.

That’s when the comedy started because the little boy began shaking his head with so much disbelief. Phoenix couldn’t help but sigh on the side simply because he couldn’t take his dad’s lies anymore.

Technically, the dad was trying his best to make up stories to get some hilarious yet innocent reactions from his little victim.

He also lied about not having eaten any type of meat for 11 years and letting the kids sleep in a hammock. Seriously, Phoenix’s dad was trying to say they’re living in the Stone Age.

The prank somehow turned out successfully because the young man then started making some comic reactions to his father’s lies.

I think the funniest part of the joke was when the dad claimed that Phoenix destroyed his Nintendo Switch which was literally charging in front of them. When the boy took his gaming console, he literally showed it to the camera and belied his father.
