“She’s got a smile that it seems to me, reminds me of childhood memories
Where everything was as fresh as the bright blue sky
Now and then, when I see her face, she takes me away to that special place
And if I stared too long, I’d probably break down and cry”
These kids are really bringing it with their performance of ‘Sweet Child of Mine’ by Guns N’ Roses! What great energy they have on that stage! And each one of them is so talented; they really gave it their all for this one!
“For my school’s holiday concert, our band director thought that it would be fun if we were to do a cover of the famous Guns N’ Roses song, ‘Sweet Child O’ Mine.’ When our band has covered songs in the past, we typically have dressed according to the time period and genre of music,” reads the caption of the YouTube video.
“For this song, our band director told us to come in black leather and the whole punk look. The holiday concert is the biggest performance of the year, with about every family at the school attending. To fit all of these people, the concert takes place in a giant church near our school. Needless to say, playing this song for such a large crowd was immensely fun.”
After the middle schoolers finished their stellar performance, they got a standing ovation from the audience. What an amazing show!
“This music director for this school is what we need in all the schools,” comments one person on YouTube after watching the video. “Kids were awesome.”
“Man, this gave me chills. These kids were great!” another person writes online. “Music director was awesome. Singer has a strong voice, guitarist was incredible, bass sounded excellent, drummer on point. What a performance!”
We hope that you enjoyed this awesome cover of ‘Sweet Child of Mine’ by this middle school band today!
When 98-year-old MaeDell held her great-great-great-granddaughter Zhavia for the first time, it resulted in a photo featuring 6 generations of family. And afterward, the sweet pic ended up going viral online. I wonder if MaeDell ever imagined she would be known all around the country due to a family photo.
Gathered around her are 6 generations of family. Six generations of women and six generations of love. The family came together to visit MaeDell after the birth of her great-great-great-granddaughter.
If you come from a big family, you know how important family moments are to grandparents. It’s truly something to place a newborn in the arms of their grandparents. It’s incredible when there are more than four generations spanning from oldest to youngest. It’s even rarer when the matriarch spans six generations of women.
But MaeDell wouldn’t have it any other way.
“We spent three hours with her – she had the baby pretty much the entire time,” Gracie Snow Howell, MaeDell’s 58-year-old granddaughter, said. “The baby was fussy, and she was like: ‘Here, give me that baby.’ She’s just a natural, and she was so excited to see us and spend time with us and hold that baby.”
Photo Shows 6 Generations Of Family
To capture this precious moment, Gracie’s sister snapped a photo of all the women together, representing 6 generations of family: MaeDell; Gracie; Gracie’s mother, Frances, 77; Gracie’s daughter, Jacqueline, 39; Gracie’s granddaughter, Jaisline, 19; and the sixth generation, baby Zhavia.
The women of this family are incredibly proud of their matriarch because she didn’t have it easy growing up. She married at 16 and became a mom the moment she said ‘I do’ to her husband Bill Taylor. His first wife had died in childbirth. He already had ten children.
The family didn’t have much, but what they did have was each other and a whole lot of love. It’s evident love for family was passed down to all 6 generations, who couldn’t be more proud to have MaeDell as their matriarch. They also couldn’t wait to introduce Zhavia to her incredible great-great-great grandmother.

When we are kids, our dreams for our birthdays are a little different. Who among us has not wanted our favorite superhero to grace our birthday parties? Many of us may have even dreamed of having a beloved Disney character join us in our celebrations. While most of us are drawn by fictional characters, there are kids out there who are inspired by the real-life heroes they see on television.
There are, of course, the heroes we all love and think of, such as the men who serve in our military. There have also been stories circulating about adorable children who consider their mailman or the garbage truck man their real heroes for the work they do. A sweet story from England brought into light the love a then four-year-old Marshall Scott had for the people he considered his heroes: the Queen’s Guard.
Most of us were familiar with the Queen’s Guard, thanks to their signature uniforms and a disciplined regimen of standing guard for hours at a time. It is adorable to see that a boy as young as Marshall had already fallen in love with this profession.
Back in 2017, before Queen Elizabeth II passed away on Sept. 8, 2022, his mother, Imogen Scott, wanted her son Marshall to have an extra-special fourth birthday. Since he had had a fascination with the Queen’s Guard for a really long time, she took him to Windsor Castle, where a kind guardsman made the lad’s day even more special. This sweet video shows just how much little Marshall loved his birthday and is sure to make your day as well.
Be sure to reach the end of this article to see the full video 🙂
Imogen Scott said that Little Marshall Scott idolized the soldiers who were known for protecting the late Queen Elizabeth II. Moreover, he had also had a fascination with the Royal family, which is how he came to know about the Queen’s Coldstream Guard in the first place and already decided that he wanted to be part of the Guard when he got older. “He’s is so patriotic! He sits and watches documentaries about the Queen and family. He definitely wants to be a Queen’s Guard when he’s older,” Scott said.
Scott knew she wanted to make her son’s fourth birthday special, so she came up with a great idea. She decided to take him to Windsor Castle to see the Queen’s Guard in real life, which was sure to be a treat for the sweet boy. Before going, he dressed up in his own Queen’s Guard uniform, complete with a red jacket and tall bearskin hat. In the video below, viewers can see how serious he is about wanting to be part of the Guard in his adorable outfit! Scott and Marshall arrived at Windsor Castle together, where he finally got to see his heroes. However, he had not expected that he had a birthday surprise coming up!
The video below was originally taken by a tourist, Joanna Feng, who just wanted to take a video of the marching guard.
However, she inadvertently caught the incredibly aww-worthy moment when Marshall first saw the guard and also the minutes following when one of the guards, Lance Corporal Paul Edden, helped his mom in giving him the best birthday gift ever.
At Windsor Castle, the Scotts watched a squad of guardsmen marching to the Guardroom during the “Changing of the Guard” ceremony. The little boy saluted the soldiers as they marched away, and it was the cutest thing to see Marshall so excited to see his heroes march past him. That seemed to be about as close as Marshall was going to get to his heroes – until Lance Corporal Edden marched back out. This was not according to the strict rules of the Coldstream Guard, but the gesture was a beautiful one.
The guard beckoned the child over, and Marshall stood next to him, saluting. This gave Scott a great opportunity to take a picture of the two of them. The guard then turned to face Marshall and did a quick high-step. He then marched back into the Guardroom. The entire exchange was captured by the tourist, and it looked like this gesture was a hit with everyone who was at the ceremony. When the guard marched out and posed for a picture with Marshall, there were cheers, claps and “awws” heard. Marshall was a huge hit as well, especially because he looked so adorable in his costume that tourists later asked if they could have their pictures taken with him.
“I just remember when I was younger when I wanted a picture with a soldier, and seeing Marshall in a Coldstream Guard’s uniform just made me proud of what I do,” Edden said as per Town And Country Magazine. ” I just thought I would give him a chance to have a picture for himself for his own memories.”
The Evening Standard later interviewed Lance Corporal Edden, during which he explained why he had broken formation to see the boy.
“Usually I would just take the guardsmen in the guardroom as normal – but my wife and I are expecting a baby boy, and I remembered standing at Edinburgh Castle when I was younger hoping to get a picture with a soldier.”
Lance Corporal Edden added, “It’s not the normal sort of thing we tend to do, but… it’s nice to see the support we’ve had off the public and around the world.” He also did not know that he was making Marshall’s birthday so memorable! “It wasn’t till one of the guardsmen found the video on Instagram that I was told it was his birthday, so it just made the moment even better,” Lance Corporal Edden told the Mirror. The sweet gesture went viral immediately after being posted, with thousands of people being taken by how cute Marshall looked in his uniform.
“He wanted to visit the castle for his birthday but just had no idea what would happen. We are so overwhelmed and thankful for everything,” Scott said about the video going viral. “He is so happy. Literally his dreams have come true,” Scott added.
Marshall may have something to look forward to in his future; the Facebook page of the Coldstream Guards posted this message after the video went viral: “We have a spot reserved for him at the Army Foundation College Harrogate for the March 2029 intake.” This is one birthday that Marshall will never forget!
If you have young children you should be able to relate to the story of dancer Bree Hafen of McKinney, Texas, who decided to put her dreams of becoming a professional dancer on the back burner when her two kids were born.
But after she’d given birth to her two kids, Luke, 5, and Stella, 2, Hafen knew it was time to focus on her dreams once more. So in 2012, she auditioned for “So You Think You Can Dance”‘s ninth season. But while she was there to show off her incredible dancing talent, she didn’t expect that her children would be a part of the process too. The judges were just as impressed with Hafen’s adorable children as they were with her dancing.
During her appearance on the show, Hafen revealed a little about her backstory. She said:
“When you become a mother, you want to just give your whole life to your kids. And when you ever feel like doing something for yourself, you have to deal with a little bit of the guilt involved because you want to give all of your time to your children.”
She said that the decision to get back into dance was a struggle where she wondered if she was good enough to warrant the time away from her family. But she admitted she wasn’t ready to give up on her dream just yet.
During her live audition, she stood on the stage in front of the judges including head judge Nigel Lythgoe. After she introduced herself she mentioned that her kids were in the audience before she added, “Stella, by the way, is a phenomenal little dancer.”
After Hafen made it known that her children were in the audience, Lythgoe seized on the opportunity to get to know the family a little more and asked for the children to head to the stage. Once they arrived, Lythgoe got up and let them take his seat on the judging panel. That’s when Hafen began her audition performance.
From the moment she began to dance, it was clear that Hafen was incredibly talented. The way she moved around the floor was something that only an experienced dancer could do. This revelation made it all the more emotional when Hafen explained that she gave up on her own dreams of onstage success in favor of caring for her children.
This time, luck was finally on her side and after her performance, her kids handed her a ticket to the next round of the competition. Following her audition, Lythgoe praised Hafen’s performance and told her:
“Apart from all the sugary sweet things with the kids and everything, I’ve gotta say that at the end of it, you’re a very very good dancer.”
Hafen was incredibly humbled by Lythgoe’s comment. He then asked her why she’d left it until that moment to audition for the show. That’s when she told her story about giving up her dreams as a dancer to care for her kids. But she did reveal that they were just as responsible for giving her the confidence she needed to audition in the first place. After she won a place in the next round, Hafen celebrated onstage with her two children and explained she had been given the confidence to return to the stage and her love of dancing because of the support of her husband and kids.
As she discussed what it meant for her to make her way to the next round of the show, Stella repeated, “My turn! My turn!” as if she knew that her mom’s moment in the spotlight was over and now it was hers. Once Lythgoe saw that the 2-year-old wanted to perform on the same stage as her mom, he asked for her to be left on stage and cued the music one more time.
Your heart will melt when you see how this adorable 2-year-old attempted to copy the moves that won her mom a place in the next round of “So You Think You Can Dance.” Stella’s ballet performance was absolutely adorable and stole the show. The audience and the judges were absolutely enthralled with her moves and she even received a standing ovation.
The internet seems to have fallen in love with her too since the video has now been viewed over 7 million times. People in the comments also loved it. One wrote:
“That little kid made my heart melt! Omg! She is gonna be just as good as her mom!”
Meanwhile, others pointed out how much they loved Hafen’s audition and complimented her excellent dancing skills. It’s not clear how far Hafen went on the show but she wasn’t a finalist, however, she is still dancing these days. She has a Facebook page with over 1,500 followers and an Instagram with over 5,000 followers. Her Facebook says that she is a dance teacher/choreographer.
Hafen’s story is a testament to never giving up on what you love, even if there are two things you love such as family and your passion. Her story proves that it’s possible to have both if you prioritize your time.
The Reback family is no ordinary one. Lyette and David Reback of Palm Beach Florida, are parents to 16 children, four of whom are adopted.
The couple met when Lyette, now 45, met her husband David when she was just 19 years old. The couple got engaged just 10 days later, married the following year and had their first daughter when Lyette was 21.
According to the family’s blog, Lyette was a single child who had never babysat or even changed a diaper before she had her first child.
“I could have never imagined or envisioned that we’d have so many children,” she said in an interview with HooplaHa.
So many children demand $650 in wholesale groceries per week including 40 pounds of chicken, 50 pounds of potatoes, 100 eggs, 12 gallons of milk, and more. And there are 42 loads of laundry every week and 88 different sports practices.
According to a special on the Rebacks by Fox News, Lyette has spent roughly 10 years of her life pregnant, has gained and shed 600 Lbs in baby weight and is yet to have a single C-section.
“If I had known then that by the time I was 40 I would have 16 kids I would have thought it was crazy,” she says. “If the number of children we have comes up in conversation or people see us out and they don’t know our family, they are like, ‘holy mackerel.'”
Apart from raising 16 children Lyette also homeschools all of them, runs a charity for Gold Star families called Believe With Me as well as her very own blog. She also makes sure to find time to work out and go out with her friends. Her secret? A strict schedule, with every member of the family doing their part.
“I like to think it’s equivalent to probably running a small to medium-sized business,” she explains. “If you think about just the various industries that are covered in the day, we probably serve as many meals as some small cafes do in a day.”
The family abides by a strict a chore schedule that covers everything from cooking, to cleaning, to laundry. The children also attend community events, arts performances and volunteer at their mother’s charity.
in the quiet embrace of their shared world, a precious moment unfolds between a father and his little baby girl. The room is bathed in the soft glow of love, and as the father gazes upon his daughter, he can’t help but be captivated by the pure innocence that radiates from her tiny being.
“Look at you, my beautiful little one,” he whispers with a heart full of adoration. The little baby girl, cradled in the safety of her father’s arms, responds with a glistening smile that could rival the sun. Her eyes, pools of curiosity and wonder, reflect the love and affirmation bestowed upon her.In that tender moment, the father’s words become a mirror that reflects not just her physical appearance but also the depth of the love he feels for his precious daughter. The room is filled with a warmth that goes beyond the tangible, transcending into the realm of emotions that only a parent-child bond can evoke.
The little one’s smile grows wider, as if acknowledging the beauty not just in her reflection but in the connection she shares with her father. It’s a simple yet profound exchange, a testament to the power of words and the magic they create in the world of a child.
As the father continues to express his admiration, the room becomes a haven of positivity, where a father’s affirmation becomes the foundation upon which a little girl’s self-esteem and sense of self-worth begin to blossom. And so, in the soft glow of that cherished moment, a lifelong journey of self-discovery and confidence takes its first steps.
In the simplicity of a smile and the resonance of a father’s words, a beautiful chapter unfolds – a chapter filled with love, affirmation, and the enduring bond between a father and his precious little girl.
Babies and toddlers are the most adorable creatures ever and it’s hard not to find a child amusing and adorable when they are in a good mood. Well here’s a little girl who’s definitely in a good mood and is definitely adorable.
The man in this video is Arthur Migliazza, who teaches online piano lessons and is pretty much of a piano expert. He specializes in boogie piano pieces and he does not disappoint here, playing a boogie version of Swanee River (originally written in 1851 by Stephen F. Foster and titled “Old Folks at Home”).
A video of his adorable little girl went viral on the internet for all the good reasons. This little girl is very fond of Dad’s music. She keeps dancing when her dad plays the piano, until she decides it’s a little more fun to tinkle the ivories herself!
Then, like a kid is wont to do, she gets distracted by her food and forgets about the dance for a while. The baby seems to love her food more and that causes a slight distraction among the kid and the piano. In this video, 8-year-old Ollie is playing an electric guitar so well that a crowd gathers just to listen to his Western theme songs. It’s so good, it’s as if you’re watching the sun go down and a cowboy ride off into the sunset.
Ollie says he’s been playing for a couple of years–his grandfather started teaching him at age six. He’s got his own YouTube channel now and dreams of being a guitarist in a band.
This video is his biggest hit so far, with over six million views. He uses the money he earns to buy more guitars and guitar accessories–a good lesson for one so young to work on supporting his own dreams.
