Tap-Dancing Teens Wow the Crowd with ‘Zorba the Greek’ Routine

0

Tap dancing is a popular style of dance that originated in the United States during the late 1800s. It began in the African American communities of the South, where slaves would create and perform their own songs and dances. As African American culture and music spread, so too did the popularity of tap dancing.

During the 1920s and 30s, the style of dance evolved and became more popular as a form of entertainment in vaudeville shows and Broadway musicals. Well in this video, we get to see a wonderful tap dance performed by a large group of young teens, and I think you’re going to like it.

The girls perform the “Zorba the Greek” dance, a traditional Greek dance that originated in the island of Crete and is said to have originated from the ancient Minoan civilization. It is a lively and energetic dance that is traditionally performed in a circular pattern, with the dancers stepping and turning in unison, to the accompaniment of guitars, mandolins, drums and tambourines.

And even though it’s a group performance, they all perform like they’re one. The perfect sync of their moves will give you chills. The girls put on a fantastic show, and the crowd’s reaction proves it right. Watch the full video below and please leave us a Facebook comment to let us know what you thought!

Four Girls Line Up on Stage – But Their Dancing Is Nothing Like I Expected

0

Many parents of young girls are a little trepidatious about dance recitals: long days watching lots of semi-skilled girls try their best at doing moves they’ve been working on for weeks. Good news for this video: these girls are not semi-skilled and you’ll definitely enjoy their dance.

Irish dancing derived from ancient Celtic and Druid dance rituals over 1,000 years ago. It has been practiced in Ireland since at least the 16th century, and is thought to be a combination of traditional Irish, Scottish, and English dance styles. It is characteristic for maintaining a stiff upper body with intricate footwork. These four girls use a slightly more modern flair but their moves are still beautifully Irish dance.

These girls are just amazing. They are dancing to “Siamsa” by internationally acclaimed composer Ronan Hardiman, whose music has been in movies (Neverland), TV, theater and Irish dance shows such as Lord of the Dance, Feet of Flames and Celtic Tiger.

The girls precise movements do the composer–-and their dance teacher–-proud. I really think you will like this! Watch the full video below and please leave us a Facebook comment to let us know what you thought!

2-Yr-Old Melts Hearts Telling Cow Story With the Best Southern Drawl

0

We all love the movie, Forrest Gump. For many, the best thing about the movie was how amazingly Tom Hanks talked in a Southern accent.

However, the Southern accent sounds even cuter when a toddler is speaking in it. Olan is a two-year-old boy from Alabama. He is a very talented little boy and he loves to tell stories about cows. His mom Maegan Thornberry is a very supportive mother. She makes him tell the stories in ways not many parents do to their toddlers.

Maegan and Gatlin are both very proud and supportive of their talented two-year-old. Olan uses rare Southern terms and this has amazed the viewers a lot. The internet was overwhelmed by how a little boy can fluently speak in the accent of the South and be such an amazing storyteller. We can also tell that Olan really loves cows.

This little one is just too adorable. Watch the full video below and please leave us a Facebook comment to let us know what you thought!

Such special people are child prodigies who stun the world with their natural talent. One of these prodigies is Amira Willighagen from The Netherlands. She rose to fame after winning Holland’s Got Talent at the tender age of 9!

She has the voice of an angel, and is known to perform some really challenging opera pieces. Even seasoned singers find it hard to sing such tunes, but Amira makes it look easy. This spontaneous performance is definitely worth a watch!

The street performer had initially not cared about her wanting to sing along with him. Only after he realized who she really was, he agreed to play with her.
